we copy the lamp shaped protecter thing with paper to stop missy from screaching her ear and we went out to buy a real plastic one....

since the paper one works fine so far, we kept it there so she dont have to go through all the pain and confusion of taking it off and putting it on again.....

also, with some weird combo, i managed to hang my mp3....its like all the mp3 i owned (all 2 of them) have a sceret code to hang itself and the only way is to let the power run out and charge it again....

the last one was if u plug the mp3 into the computer with the earphone attatched, it will hang, which developed my habbit of unpluging the headset before charging the mp3 (it can only be charged via the computer) i did the combo this time be accident, so i dont really know how did i manage to hang this mp3...weird stuff

CTDE (Clost To Death Experance)

so, i wanted to charge my psp

i plug in the the exdention socket thingy

*BOOM*

there's this great ball of light (ok, not really THAT big, but it's still pretty scary)

im glad that the charged needs an adapter, so its raised slightly further from my hand, which the explotion ALMOST touched my hand....

it would be ULTRA awesome if i could catch that on high speed camera

sadly/amazingly im not really glad that i lived, im more concern about the power supply.... suddenly, the whole house was super quiet, no more fan's humming, and whatever sound there is

went to the box the flip the swtiches back up....hmmm....nth at all...

the swtiches were up but there is just no power!

so i went out to where more chim power boxes and swtiches are and thx to my gaming experance, i know switches are behind those doors, and sure enough, 2 switches were off

so, after fliping 4 swtiches, and surviving an mini explotion, i lived another day to tell teh story

happy ending? but my life issnt end yet, how is this an happy ending.....

moral of the story? unplug it first

feel kinda sad? he has been coming and going so much that, the sad feeling has been...reduced? numbed? but he calls once in awhile, so that's alright =)

Day3 of Batam

Ah...it's been a few days, so i'll type what i remember lol

one thing i forgot from day 2

there was a black out just before i typed that post o.o

my dad was out on the street buying icecream from mac (yeah, went all the way there to eat mac ice cream...its was milo/coffee macflurry)

the hotel tv there was actually awesome with HBO and Starmovie (i know i said this but i just have to say it again LOL)

most hotel tv have only some local tv, and some american/british news channel, and some useless info of the hotel and some pay per view movies provided by the hotel, this one actually got real tv, awesome

makes me kinda lazy to walk out though lol

and serving free lychee drinks are like some standerd move there, i dont mind it at all =)

also, at night we went to this chinese resturant (yeah, i know, lol) and the shop owner actually speaks cantonese, pretty unexpected

and the shop has this really racist/streotype name, called "tuffo" (spelt with 2 f)

and the shop has this really small kitten and i played with it (i think its a she) for a while and took some pics =) really cute

saw her playing with her owner makes me think, look at the enviourment! this place is so "low grade" compaired to my house, but missy would not me much happier then this little kitten would be, both had a home, ppl that loved her, food and water, that's all a cat needs! once again makes me feel that being human sucks = ="

okok....day3

we didn't do much on day 3, since its only 1/2 day

went to swin (again) in the hotel's swimming pool, its was ULTRA cold, as in, 15 C cold (or 75 F if i remembered it correctly) and theres a few warm masarging pool's at the side so we would jump in the cold one and then jump in the hot one and jump back into the cold pool, awesome

maybe that explains the feaver-ish feeling after that LOL

then, we went hunt for food

once again, using limited words, we managed to odered some chicken, fish and beef, spicy of course

and we drank lots of orange juice down there because the word orange seem's to be shared by indonesian and english LOL

i duno if it's THAT obvious that we are not locals, or they just don't walk on streets, every taxi (and sometimes random vans and cars) that drove pass us would horn, and shout "TAXI? TAXI!?"

then we managed to find a driver to drive us to a shopping mall, he asked where we want to go after shopping, we said we want to go to the port, and he say he would be willing to drive us there after our shopping, after sth like 10mins of understanding

so we spent another 10min explaining we want to go to that port (i forgot the name..) and we want him to meet us at 4pm

so he arrived the mall, and i think he stopped a little too late and it ends up I am the one that have to take the parking ticket from the entrance, and that Rp 1000 fee have to come from mom...weird

and we went wondering around the mall and took some photos (uploading later, i hope)

and suddenly, we found him again, looking for us, because i had the parking ticket and he couldn't leave without it (we told him he dosent have to wait for us, just make sure he's waiting for us at the drop off point at 4)

even more weird....

then we went to an acrade and my bro was just attarected to it, like iron and magnet, and honey and bees, and mj and little childerens (wth?!)

so we played there, leaving one token not spent to keep it

and went to eat kaya toast next door (o.o?)

there was supposed to have a bumper car there, but we didnt go, we were running out of time

so we waited, and waited, and he didnt show up, so we rent another taxi (i wonder if we paid the last guy =\)

a taxi with no ac = ="

but still, we made it to the port, save and sound (i wonder what sound does save and sound sounds like)

and thus, the batam trip ended, pretty awesome actually

feel's like china all over again

the fear of getting cheated, dusty road, cars, yeah, it's like china lol

but it was fun still =)

Day2

so....today was not too bad =)

woke up at around 11? im not sure...the time thin is confusing lol

took some pictures before we leave the hotel, make up for the photos i didnt take on the 1st day because of the kinda bad mood lol

anyway...

went to the BIGGEST hotel in batam, the pacific palace =D

it was so big and nice, its shaped like a boat and the inside were awesome

BUT, this is not the hotel we booked = ="

my mom at 1st remembered golden palace(wthack), so the hotel staff guessed it was pacific palace, and mom thought so, and so we went

the best thing is no one else know the name of the hotel

the lady at the pacific palace said we didnt book a room, and so my mom checked her email again

yay wireless internet!

and so we found out we booked a room at these another hotel called holiday planet = ="

awesome

so we ate at a restaurant next to a hotel

the way they serve the dishes is really weird

once we sat on a table, this dude caring like 12 dishes at one time just walk to out table and start puting dishes on the table, we didnt even ored anything

no one there know english down there, "#$^%$#%^$@ sadu, $#%$^@%! duwa" while pointing at the dishes....pretty scary

the man pointed at one dish, and typed 9000 on the calculator, so one dish is 9k? and another plate of veg and typed 3000, oh...so a veg is 3k? ok..?

then we asked them to take all the weird looking dishes away, to cut the cost too, there's freaking 12 dishes

then, we looked at the bill they gave us, because we asked them for the cost

we dont understand it at all

i thought its 9k? how come there's like 15k a dish on the bill? so i took a look of the bill

a saw, besides the names of the dishes (i guess) were 1's and 2's, and suddenly one 6

so a looked and saw a plate of prawn, and i counted, indeed theres 6 prawns

WOW so its counted by the number of things you've eaten....2 beef and 2 chicken per plate, and u only have to pay for one beef and one chicken of u only ate one, not too bad lol

after the meal, just nice one taxi driver parked there, for lunch i guess, but the water there stopped the driver and asked him to take us to our hotel, sad life for the driver lol

the taxi have no meter in it! the prize is made by the driver and is negotiable, nice

at was only aound a 3min drive from the restaurant, because it's about as long as the song "Bad Day" LOL

and we arrived plante holiday!!!

at least they've got pool at the basement LOL

and i realized one thing while im walking down the street

Batam Day1

Gonna spent 3 days in batam, and here's day one

there's, surprisingly, 1 hour differences in the local time and singapore time...and we only took an hour of boat ride!!

eat tones of praw and fish crackers lolol

and there's this donut shop and looks just like donut factory, with the coffee, and orange walls, and donut flavors, wtcrap lol

BUT!!

they've got pizza flavor donut, which strangely taste exactly like a pizza.....weird....

and we tagged along a tour and went around batam on a bus, which sucked = ="

went to see temples, and temples, and shops....which pretty suck...

we were supposed to go to a race track and have some awesome racing action, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

it rained...

and to top it off, the stupid bus is leaking...i could get wet inside the freaking bus....pretty awesome

and our clothes smell like rain and road water =)

ahhhh

at least the hotel got HBO and Starmovies =)

and most importantly, FREE FREAKING INTERNET

u know how they always charge u for every single shit they "provide"

but this hotel got pool table, pretty cheap, and rental ps2 and free lay chee drink when we arrived, sweet, a little too sweet lol

but the fish is really nice, not so much about the crabs...i dont like the sause....and i dont really like crabs in the 1st place LOL

this is what I had came up after a few days of thought, enjoy =)

Knowing Your Enemy

Zombies are usually undead, dead bodies brought back to life by supernatural means (voodoo magic) or otherwise, or, a newer term, infected, but alive, humans that had turn into mindless killing machine(this includes animals)

the key point is, mindless

no, they can't do super human stuff, they could only do what they can do when they were alive(or healthy) at best, and they often don't

the reason why they keep attacking you even the arms were chopped off is because they dont feel pain, they are mindless

so, besure to blow their head off the 1st try =)

The Weapons

You've seen it in the movies, you've seen it in games...but, in the long run, gun are NOT the best weapons...why?

well 1st, we're in singapore, guns ain't lying around, so spending time looking for guns, learning how to use them, the need of ammo, maintenance, it all cost too much

sharp/blunt objects are the way to go in the long run, so, make sure u have something handy, common kitchen stuffs like pots, pan are great blunt weapons.

forget kitchen knifes, those things breaks in the handle easily...

maybe even a foldable chair, laptop, maybe even keyboard could come in handy if you were caught by surprise

in case you run into a couple of firearms, its good to have a 2nd gun, but not more then 3

have a backup because if your main gun ran outta ammo in a bad time, or you drop your titanium non-stick frying pan, its good to know you have a 2nd gun (or any weapons) around your weist

keep light though, do not bring too much on you, this slows you down and it is not good in anyway, share your items with your good friends if you have extra ammo =D

it maybe be good to wrap the handle with ropes to prevent zombie blood from getting it slippery

The Escape Plan

don't have the mind set that zombies could only have in the US or UK, it could happen ANYWHERE

we're kidna lucky that singapore is not a heavily densed place, which means a lower risk of meeting zombies =)

still, its good to have an escape plan, just in case

Don't stay in a supermarket, just grab the things like food, fuel(charcoal?), and most importantly, water

because, who knows how long are you gonna get stuck in the supermarket? you gonna fight the zombies day in and day out and just stay there to wait for rescue? stay for the night at best, don't try to stay in it for a long term

another good thing about singapore, everything is within a day's walk, I KNOW IT PERSONALLY LOL

so, I guess the best bet is to head for the military base, although as small the army could be, at least they've got guns

if they don't have the people man the guns, at least you could use their guns for yourself, once again, the gun is not ideal for long term survival because there is only so much ammo you could carry, ration your ammo and it should be your last resort

and the military base has all sorts of off-road vehical that you might need when conditions are good, you might want to head north, to malaysia and thailand and so on, sometimes you just have to take a chance to survive Z-Day

you could go south, if you know how to drive a boat, but i think a car is easier to drive and fuel is more common

The People

It's always better to stick in small groups then be alone

BUT!!

only stay within a SMALL group, 3-5, and only the closest people you trust, and dosent panic and cause friendly fire when zombies attack

"yeah, I do love you, but I'm not willing to die just yet, so, goodbye..." might sound harsh, but its for your survival


also, DO NOT get touched by a zombie, any cut, screach, bite, means 100% doom

if anyone you know has been injured by a zombie, kill' em, when they are still your friend which meanse u saved them from the pain of transforming into a zombie

it's much more painful to watch/let them turn into a zombie and you still have to kill them, this time a monster that kinda look like your friend which is trying to dig out your brain

KILL ALL INJURED PERSON!! O.O
